Information regarding freedom of information in the council
In common with all other local authorities, the Parish Council has adopted the 2009 version of the Model Publication Scheme as drawn up by the Information Commissioner under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOI). The Scheme commits the Council to provide information to the public routinely and proactively and is in two parts – the Model Scheme itself and a list of the information available from the Council. You will find these in the downloads section on the left of this page.
This website is simple static HTML4 with no javascript animation or video files, and images have alt fields. Thus making it accessible to those with disabilities as follows: possible to navigate with the keyboard, zoom in upto 300%, navigate with speach recognition software, listen to the website with screen reader software, aims for a Flesch readability score >50 {as measured with MS_Word}.
The official noticeboard of the Parish Council is located on the Village Green next to the bus shelter.
